Into the Dark Abyss
The sun rose from the waves, piercing the twilight, as the blood red wash drained from the sky. The waters were eerily serene, and the cloudless horizon lay quietly on a perpetual expanse of ocean. The glistening waves appeared deceptively innocent, giving no hint to what lay below, or the bloody carnage they had once witnessed.
Across the deck, the clean, precise lines of the hull were broken by a monstrous form, mechanical and threatening.
